Local surfers have been celebrating a milestone within their community by riding waves at St Clair.
Dozens participated in a yearly competition, made special with the 30th birthday of a local surf shop.
And the event was also aimed at helping youngsters.
More than 150 junior swimmers have taken to Moana Pool for a regional championship.
