The Clutha District Council will consider a rates increase for 2017-18 of about 2.4%.
Councillors will consider a draft annual plan outlining changes to forecast budgets. The draft annual plan will then be distributed for feedback from the public.
Clutha Mayor Bryan Cadogan says the proposed rates rise of about 2.4% is an average over the different areas in the district, where rates varied.
A report to councillors says rates increases will be offset by proceeds from forestry sales. The 2017-18 annual plan would take effect from July 1.
