Twenty-three-year-old Dunedin Student Alex Yarnall is planning on taking part in this year's Stadium Climb Dunedin fundraiser for blood cancer patients.

The event is of personal significance for him, as he missed out last year's climb as he battled leukaemia.

But he's now in remission and looking forward to doing his bit in this year's challenge.
