Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of a blaze which destroyed a local home and its contents yesterday.

The fire tore through this Dalziel Rd house in Brockville yesterday afternoon.

The occupants were not injured in the fire, although it destroyed everything inside.

Firefighters from four local stations were called to attend the incident.

They say the state house was fully involved by the time they arrived, about 4pm.

Every window in the brick house was broken in the fire.

It's believed the occupants were alerted to the blaze by smoke alarms.
