Welcome back. Alexandra’s Centennial Park is set to have a facelift, thanks to funds from the local Blossom Festival.

The Vincent Community Board agreed to support plans to develop a terraced amphitheatre and permanent stage at the park.

Central Otago Mayor Tim Cadogan said a loose estimate of cost was $250,000 dollars, and it could take about three years to complete.

The project is to be funded with money raised from the Alexandra Blossom Festival.
