Police have charged a 40 year old South Otago man in relation to a crash which occurred in early September.

The man is due to appear at the Dunedin District Court later this week in relation to the accident which killed Timaru businessman, Allan Hubbard.

The man faces two charges: one of careless driving causing death, and another of careless driving causing injury to June Hubbard.

The crash happened on State Highway One at Hilderthorpe, north of Oamaru.
