The Dunedin City Council spent the day discussing discretionary items which are now going to be included in the Draft Annual Plan for public consultation.

Councillor Jinty McTavish says the proposals which have been recommended for Council funding include:

Ocean Beach Erosion, a Maori Consultation Model, the Caversham Tunnel, the St. Clair sea wall and steps, an energy plan, stage one of the strategic cycle network, and funding for the Blueskin Bay Library.

McTavish says there are 34 other items listed in the plan which remain unfunded in current draft stages.
