Champion woolhandler Joel Henare won his eleventh national title at the Otago Shears in Balclutha at the weekend.

It was the fiftieth anniversary of the New Zealand Open Woolhandling Championships, with a good crowd coming to watch shearing and wool handling experts vie for the top prizes.
