It's a milestone day for a pair of twin sisters from Balclutha.

Couples Diana and Gilbert Tweed and Deanna and Robin Benington are celebrating a shared 60th wedding anniversary today.

The pair of pairs enjoyed a double wedding at St Mary's Anglican Church in Kurow, on this day back in 1959.

ODT reporter Richard Davison stopped by to see them, as they reminisce on their special day six decades ago.
