Organisers say several hundred visitors browsed the more than sixty stalls during the course of the traditional five-hour fair.
They say stallholders were delighted with the large number of shoppers, an increase being put down to the perfect summer weather.
Typically, the market day raises about fifteen hundred dollars for local beautification projects.
Proceeds from this year's event are set to go towards new information panels for the town's historic Molyneux Bay.
