A Councillor has argued Crate Day isn't a Kiwi institution at a hearing to consider submissions on a proposed public alcohol ban in Queenstown.

The claim was made by Councillor Penny Clark in front of the resort's alcohol ban bylaw 2018 hearing panel at the Queenstown Lakes District Council's chambers.
