The trip of a lifetime beckons for five young Alexandra space science students.

The group have booked themselves a trip to France after taking part in an international challenge to design the next space technology.

And with the help of the New Zealand Space Agency, they'll travel to the Toulouse Space Show later this month to pitch their idea.
