The 50th anniversary of Burt Munro’s world speed record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah was celebrated in Invercargill on Saturday with a motorcycle street parade.

Over 120 riders made their way through the main streets of Invercargill to show off their bikes and remember a Southland hero.
