Police and LandSAR teams have completed another day of searching for a fisherman who was reported overdue on Sunday.

The missing man, 29-year-old Shan Norton McLauchlan, has not been found.

A team of 14 police and LandSAR teams from Tokanui and Owaka are involved in the search along the Slope Point coastline.

They're supported by Amateur Radio Emergency Communications in Invercargill.

Over the next 12 hours or so, Police will consider the next steps.

A decision will be made tomorrow on the future of the search.
