A driver has been injured after a collision involving a truck and a car in South Otago this morning.

The crash happened at Milburn on the Waihola Highway, about 6 kilometres north of Milton, at around 8 am. The driver was trapped in their car and has moderate injuries.

The south-bound lane of the highway was reported blocked at 8.10am but was clear again just after 9.30am. There was is no further information at this stage, according to Police.
