Although participants out-numbered spectators, those who took part in the chaos still had a lot of fun.

Teams from pack-houses and orchards compete in an obstacle race and tug-of-war, while there are cherry slides and a cherry baking competition.

Packhouses and orchards fielded 26 teams of 6, with the Melrose Orchard team winning for the second time in a row.

The Remarkables Orchard team won the mixed team competition, while the Random team won the junior
section and the Berry Birds won the women's section.

The event celebrates cherries and the fruit’s contribution to the Teviot Valley.
